OMG I haven't posted in like ten years, so sorry guys!!
Uni has been keeping me really stressed & busy.
BUT
I have finally come round to writing about my Makeup Haul which took
place a few weeks ago. Finally got the things I have been needing for
ages or have been keen to try! :)
I have done a YouTube video talking all about these new products if you wanna have a loooky!
First of all I think these look alot nicer than that 25 hour foundations by Rimmel I was using, always love a bit of bright colour in my makeup bag. :) Thankfully they had the same shade as my previous foundation - "Soft Beige" and I was really happy with the results. It goes on very smoothly giving an overall neat and balanced look. It can go on well using fingers and a brush, I tend to use brushes more. You don't need a lot of this product because it evenly spreads all over. The colour is great also!! Definitely my faveourite foundation so far, really recommened it! :)
Now on to the concealer...
I have never been into concealer, my friends use it but I had never used it before I tried this one. I'm always careful about how many layers of makeup that go on to the face because it is never good to block up the pours. Howeverrrrr I gave this a go and actually didn't realise how good concealers were!! I put it under my eyes, sides of my mouth, and obviously on the darker patches or spots/boils whatever we have thrown at us! :p It adds a lovely appearance with some great highlights under the eyes to make you look more refreshed.
Now on to the powder, I went through a while of not using powder on top of my foundation because my Stay Matte ran out. I did however during this time notice my makeup going patchy during the day so I thought I would give a new powder a go! I came across this FIT ME Maybelline NewYork powder and I was very pleasantly surprised!! My favourite powder by far... makeup stayed on, lovely and smoothly all day! It isn't thick or heavy but you can see it do the trick :) I hate applying powders and you can't even see it!
So now the face products are done, I was then looking for a nice subtle red lipgloss because I always get pink I thought that I need to push myself into the darker colours! I came across this Loreal Paris "Princess" Red Lipgloss and looooved it. I find the brush a bit hard to apply the gloss onto my lips so I dab it on and mix with my fingers. It is great for staying on because it doesnt stay sticky - it dries as soon as applied like it turns into a lipstick!
Still onto the lips... I usually always grab the light pink lipsticks which always end up being the same colour, I need some different tones! I have been loving the coral pink lips that others have bee wearing so my aim was to get one :) This Maybelline NewYork "Colour Sensational" Gloss did the job. It goes on lovely and thin with the perfect coral pink colour I was looking for. it stays on for a good while and keeps your lips looking lovely and shiny!
To finish off the lips I got a brown lip liner, my one ran out ages ago and I really missed it! I decided to update it and go for a new one - Rimmel's Lasting Finish Lip Liners are fab. I didnt want one too dark because I hate the strong heavy lines around lips! This liner is lovely and subtle - I apply it around my lips and then put lipstick and lipgloss inside the rest of my lips to give the overall lush look. My lips appear so much bigger!
