Random Beauty Favouties

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey guys! Havne't posted in a while so I thought it would be a cute idea to show yous my current beauty faves!

I LOVE moisturisers. I think I moisturise a bit too much, which is apparently bad for the skin because you block up your pours! But I just love that nice soft feeling on my skin and I love smelling nice.
My fave moisturiser at the moment is the TED BAKER LONDON "Orchid Body Souffle" It smells lovely!! and sinks in super fast leaving my skin feeling really nice! :)

Another moisturiser now...for the lips! This time of year because of the sun my lips get a bit dry. Now we are heading towards the colder seasons it won't get any better. However I came across this cute little lip balm that keeps them lovely and hydrated. :) It smells & tastes really nice! It also adds a little pinky red colour when applied and isn't sticky at all - nice and light for your lips!

The Cath Kidston lip balm is also a winner, the "Blossom" one smells and tastes of marzipan! It is transparent so doesn't add any colour, which is great if you want to apply this over or under a specific lipstick colour for extra hydration.

I love cute, subtle eyeshadows, especially at the time of the year before autumn/winter kicks in. I found this MAXFACTOR colour at the back of my drawers. The label has been ripped off so no idea on the colour title, but it is a light purple shade which once on looks shimmery and cute. It is a very light colour that you can experiment with! Adding darker or lighter shades to give an overall bold effect.

The next thing is my Urban Decay Eye Shadow Lotion Base. This is a fab product which you apply on your eye area. It gives a great highlighting effect to make your eyes pop! :)
Here - I have used it over my RIMMEL LONDON "Soft Beige" Foundation which I gently put on my eye lid and surrounding area. I then used darker brown tones in the corners and edges to highlight the center of my eyelid where the URBAN DECAY product is placed.

Now on to the Lips! I can't go anywhere without some lippy, I always go for the reddy pink ones. I have been using this one a lot lately, it is the MAXFACTOR "510 English Rose" and it is a beautiful shade. It isn't too bold, just add a int of reddy shimmer to your lips. :)

My new favourite brush is the TOO FACED "Kabuki Brush." This is the softest brush I have ever had. Incredibly soft!!! It is lovely and gentle on my skin, great at mixing in blushers, powders or bronzers to give an overall non patchy flawless look.

And the last thing is my body spray, I have so many! Can't stop buying help me hehe. The TED BAKER ones are beautiful. They smell lovely and fresh & last all day. Sometimes when I pick my clothes off the floor they still smell of the spray a few days later! I definitely recommend them - you can buy them at Boots in a TED BAKER gift set along with body lotions etc or separately. :)

A Pink Look.

A pink makeup tutorial to brighten up your tan for summer? why not.
I usually apply my foundation using my brush, however when I am doing light, subtle looks, I mix my foundation with some moisturising cream to give it a fresher, cleaner appearance. :)
During this time of year it is always good to experiment with colour. The light rose pink cheeks are such a cute look, especially with a tan!

I start off by putting Nivea Creme onto a freshly washed face, it helps spread the foundation. The foundation I use is

Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation in Soft Beige.

Here is the cream -

After spreading the foundation on using my fingers, I tap on my

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in Soft Beige,

onto the highlights of my face using my brush. - cheeks, nose, forehead.

After that, I then tap on my,

TOPSHOP Powder Blush in Good Girl,

onto the hearts of my cheeks using my blusher brush.

The next thing I do, is lightly tap on my

TOPSHOP Bronzer in Mohawke,

under my cheek bones using my brush. This adds some definition to your tan and your cheek bones, it also adds some warmth to the light pink shades on your face.

Using your pink blusher, you then put this onto your eye lids creating a pink eye shadow to develop this look.
Now it is time to apply your black liquid eye liner, it is in the shape of a thin scalene triangle at the end of your eyes. This makes your eyes look wider, softer and bigger. It gives you a really cute, innocent look.

After applying this, I curl my eyelashes and put my mascara on. I have used sooooo many mascaras, some good ones, some bad. I have FINALLY come across the most amazing mascara I have tried so far.. I am never changing because this is definitely the best one for me. Go give it a try and you will be amazed!! It is the,

Max Factor Masterpiece Max Mascara in black.

Have a look!

Now on to the lips -

There are so many shades of pink lipsticks out there, but these are some of my faves. First of all I put a layer of the MAYBELLINE NEWYORK Lipstick in Pink Pearl onto my lips to give them a nice shiny undercoat for the TOPSHOP Lip Varnish. Put a few spots of this on the bottom lip and one on the top lip. You then rub it in using your fingers. You can finish this look by applying some lip gloss if you like!:)

And there you go, your finished look! I hope you like it, I bet you look absolutely amazing:) This is my new fave look that I wear out for a night out or just simply out for a shopping day. It compliments your eye shape and enhances those cheeks! It is a nice, light, summery look for this time of year. :) x
